Most problems with TINKL are local to one device and are fixable in a minute from Settings. If not, the in-app feedback form reaches the developer directly, and email works for anything longer.

01

Contact us

  • Email: info@techguruofficial.us — for anything, including privacy and data-deletion requests.
  • In-app feedback: Settings → “Help improve TINKL”. Goes straight to the developer, works offline (it queues), and is the fastest route for bugs.
  • Post: Available on request.

When reporting a problem, include: what you tapped, what you expected, what happened, and the app version shown in Settings. Screenshots help. Please do not include your Sync Key.

02

One-minute fixes

  • App looks old or stuck: close and reopen it. The app updates itself in the background and reloads once when a new version takes over.
  • Charts say “Loading charts…”: you are offline on a first visit. Reconnect and reopen the view.
  • Feedback badge won’t clear: you are offline. It sends automatically when you reconnect.
  • Notifications missing: check Settings → Notifications inside TINKL, then your browser/OS notification settings for the site. Quiet hours may also be on.
  • Wrong day in a date picker: update to the latest version; earlier builds defaulted some pickers to UTC.
03

Installing TINKL

  • Android / desktop Chrome & Edge: Settings → “Install app”, or the install icon in the address bar.
  • iPhone / iPad: Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen → Add. Reminder notifications work from the home screen on iOS 16.4+.
04

Sync and Sync Keys

Your Sync Key (Settings → Cloud Sync) is the only credential for your cloud backup. To add a device: copy the key on device A, open TINKL on device B, tap “Use a key from another device”, paste, then “Restore from Cloud”.

If you lose the key there is no recovery path — that is deliberate, because it means we cannot read your backup either. Your local data on each device is unaffected.

05

Export and deletion

  • Export: Settings → Export JSON (full backup) or CSV (spreadsheet).
  • Delete local data: Settings → Danger Zone → Reset.
  • Delete cloud backup: Settings → Cloud Sync → Delete Cloud Backup. This is separate from deleting local data.
  • Delete everything, everywhere: do the two above, or email us with your Sync Key and we will remove the backup server-side.
06

Privacy requests

Access, correction, deletion and portability requests: email us. Because there are no accounts, we may need your Sync Key to locate a cloud backup. See the privacy policy for what is stored where.

07

Known limitations

  • Cloud backups are capped at about 1.5 MB; photo-heavy profiles can exceed this. Remove a few photos or export locally instead.
  • Data is per browser profile. Different browsers on the same machine do not share records — use Sync to move between them.
  • Private/incognito windows discard local data when closed.
